Band Saw Machine YL-series

The Band Saw Machine YL-series is a heavy-duty cutting system used to reduce oversized plastic material to the fixed inlet size required by granulators. As Pulian notes, granulator inlets are a fixed size, so material must be pre-cut to fit — the YL-series uses a steel rotor band saw to perform this cutting step before granulating.

The series includes the YL-400, with a maximum cutting diameter of 340mm, 400mm throat depth, 13mm blade width, 3200mm band saw length, 180rpm operating speed, and a 2HP motor, and the YL-500, with a 350mm maximum cutting diameter, 500mm throat depth, 13mm blade width, 3650mm band saw length, 180rpm operating speed, and a 3HP motor. Table area is 600x500mm on both models, with machine weights of 420kg (YL-400) and 560kg (YL-500) respectively.

The YL-series is applicable to pre-sizing large plastic blocks, bales, or bulky molded parts ahead of granulating in plastic recycling and reprocessing operations.
